STUDENTS WEAR HATS TO RAISE MONEY FOR LOCAL HOMELESS ORGANIZATION
On January 30, a number of St. Joseph-St. Elizabeth School students paid $1 to wear a favorite hat at school that day. The money collected went to the Street Reach for the Homeless and Project Warmth, which purchases blankets, hat, gloves and scarves for the homeless in Fort Wayne. The students collected $327 for the organization.
The pay-to-wear-a-hat was an activity that was part of St. Joseph-St. Elizabeth School’s celebration of Catholic Schools Week.
