STUDENTS WEAR HATS TO RAISE MONEY FOR LOCAL HOMELESS ORGANIZATION

Brothers Edward and Charles Stronczek have fun wearing their hats on the day students brought in $1 for the privilege of wearing a hat at school. On January 30, a number of St. Joseph-St. Elizabeth School students paid $1 to wear a favorite hat at school that day. The money collected went to the Street Reach for the Homeless and Project Warmth, which purchases blankets, hat, gloves and scarves for the homeless in Fort Wayne. The students collected $327 for the organization.

The pay-to-wear-a-hat was an activity that was part of St. Joseph-St. Elizabeth School’s celebration of Catholic Schools Week.
