ADAMS CELEBRATING 65TH ANNIVERSARY
Donald and JoAnna (Roffehsen) Adams, of Waynedale are celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary with family gatherings, a mass at St. Therese Church in Waynedale and a trip to Nevada.
They were married October 19, 1946 at The Cathedral in Fort Wayne. They are the parents of 9 children, 21 grandchildren and 16 “greats.”
Mr. Adams is a retired letter carrier from the Fort Wayne Post Office with 38 years of service.
Their children are Stephan (Linda) Adams, Louise (Kevin) Ambrose and John (Molly) Adams, all of Fort Wayne, Indiana; Kathleen (Roy) Kent – Grand Rapids, Michigan; Mark Adams – Salt Lake City, Utah; James (Pam) – Wabash, Indiana; Mary (Peter) Thompson – Sioux Falls, SD; Scott (Linda) Adams – Carmel, Indiana; son-in-law Richard Bauer – Fort Wayne, Indiana. A daughter Linda Bauer is deceased.
