“AIRMAN OF THE YEAR”
Congressman Marlin Stutzman (IN-03) spoke from the House Floor to congratulate Staff Sergeant Andre Carboneau for receiving the Indiana Air National Guard’s “Airman of the Year” award. This yearly recognition is earned by those who demonstrate outstanding commitment to service, involvement in their community, and a drive for educational excellence.
Carboneau, a Warsaw native, serves as Phase Aircraft Mechanic for the 122nd Fighter Wing in Fort Wayne, Indiana and has also found time to attend Indiana State University full time.
“I congratulate Staff Sergeant Andre Corboneau for his achievements and am proud of Indiana’s 14,700 members of the Indiana Army and Air National Guard,” Stutzman said on the Floor. “This nation owes endless gratitude to these men and women in uniform who have devoted their lives to our security and the preservation of liberty.”
Congressman Stutzman’s comments, were delivered during the House’s “Morning Hour.”
Congressman Stutzman represents the 3rd Congressional District of Indiana and serves on the House Committee on Agriculture, the House Committee on the Budget and the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs, Subcommittee on Economic Opportunity. Indiana’s 3rd District contains all of DeKalb, Kosciusko, Lagrange, Noble, Steuben, and Whitley counties; as well as parts of Allen and Elkhart counties.
