MIDWEST AMERICA FCU LAUNCHES “ADOPT A SOLDIER CAMPAIGN”

Starting June 13, 2011, all branches of MidWest America will once again begin collecting items for U.S. soldiers serving in Afghanistan. A detailed list of the needed items is posted on the Credit Union’s website at www.midwestamerica.org. This is the 4^th year for this project.

Each branch will be accepting donations thru Friday, July 15, 2011. MidWest America has teamed up with Hoosiers Helping Heroes who will pick up the items and ship them to the troops. Monetary donations will also be accepted to help defray the cost of shipping the parcels.

Various items are needed such as:

•Beef jerky, breakfast bars, etc.

•Shaving cream, razors, aftershave

•Toothpaste, toothbrushes, mouthwash

•Shampoo, conditioner, body wash

•Deodorant, facial cleansers, Kleenex

•Books, movies, games, puzzles

Any of the 12 branches of MidWest America Federal Credit Union with locations in: Fort Wayne, New Haven, Decatur, Columbia City, and Huntington will be happy to accept your donation(s).
