KATHLYN D. BAK, 93
KATHLYN D. BAK, 93, of Kendallville, formerly of Fort Wayne, passed away Friday, April 15, 2011 at Lutheran Life Villages, Kendallville. Mrs. Bak was born August 31, 1917 in Kendallville to the late Hyrom and Lura (Wentworth) Eminger. She retired in 1979 after 35 years at General Electric. Mrs. Bak was a member of Avalon Missionary Church. She enjoyed genealogy and sewing, but most of all, she enjoyed to study the Bible.
Surviving are her children, Lawrence W. (Pam) Bak of Auburn, Steven E. (Connie) Bak of Butler, and Shirley (Morris) Troyer of Middlebury; sister, Shirley Musselman of Kendallville; brother Robert (Doris) Eminger of Fort Wayne; eight grandchildren, Emily Butts, Geoff Evans, Randy Evans, Matthew Bak, Evan Troyer, Brian Troyer, Aaron Troyer, and Rachel Mitchell; and 8 great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death in addition to her parents was her husband, Edward Bak who passed away in 1992 and her brother, Gerald “Buck” (Maxine) Eminger.
Funeral service was Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46809 with visitation 1 hour prior. Visitation also on Tuesday, April 19, 2011 from 4 to 8 P.M.at the funeral home. Burial in Prairie Grove Cemetery.
