PILLOWS TALK
During Catholic Schools week HASA (Home and School Association) organized a pillow drive to benefit the Mustard Seed Furniture Bank. The focus this year for Catholic Schools week was “Giving Back to the Community.” HASA contacted the Mustard Seed to inquire on what items they were in need of. Mustard Seed informed HASA that they were completely out of pillows. On one of the days during Catholic Schools Week the students were able to wear their pajamas to school as long as they brought in a new pillow or money to buy a new pillow.
St. Aloysius was able to donate 118 pillows to the Mustard Seed. The Mustard Seed is located on Illinois Road in Fort Wayne, they provide home furnishings to people who are in need or have gone through a life crisis.
