SCHOOL- WIDE GARAGE SALE
St. Joseph-St. Elizabeth School will host its annual Grand Garage Sale on March 19 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Grand Garage Sale is a school-wide garage sale and takes place at the St. Joseph campus, 2211 Brooklyn Ave., Fort Wayne, IN 46802.
Items offered include toys, kitchen items, household items, books, CDs, DVDs, home decorative items and linens. A large selection of clothing is also offered, including mens, womens, girls, boys and baby clothing. Computer monitors and furniture will also be on sale.
The Grand Garage Sale is sponsored by the 7th graders and their parents, and serves as a fundraiser to help pay for the students’ 8th grade trip to Chicago. The Grand Garage Sale is also a community service for the community who comes out for the annual sale. Parking is available off of Brooklyn and Hale.
“Our Grand Garage Sale is a wonderful opportunity for our 7th graders to serve the local community and be great stewards of their faith,” said St. Joseph-St. Elizabeth School Principal Lois Widner.
“The students and their parents work hard all week preparing for the Garage Sale and on the day itself. Giving of one’s time and talent is something we encourage our young people to do. What an awesome example these 7th graders are to the community!”
