ANNE K. SCHMIDT, 92

ANNE K. SCHMIDT, 92, of Fort Wayne, died Saturday, October 4, 2008, at Renaissance Village, Fort Wayne. Born February 8, 1916, in Wilmerding, Pennsylvania, she was a registered nurse retiring from Magnavox as an industrial nurse.

She was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church; involved in the RSVP Volunteer program; and a member of Secular Franciscan Group.

Surviving are his sister, Ruth Marquart of Fort Wayne; brothers, Charles Barnett of Black Mountain, N.C. and Warren Barnett of Gardner, Mass.; best friend, Elizabeth Hilker of Fort Wayne; and three daughters.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carroll Schmidt on January 29, 2008; brother, Robert Barnett; and sisters, Mary Lou Lang and Mae Slater.

Funeral service was Thursday, October 9, 2008 at St. Therese Catholic Church, 2304 Lower Huntington Road, Fort Wayne, with visitation one-hour prior. Visitation was Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, with Rosary Wednesday. Burial in Catholic Cemetery.

Memorials to St. Therese Church or Masses.
