SMOKE ON THE WIND

DANCING FEATHERIn this cold snowy winter weather, I have thoughts of when I was a young whipper snapper growing up in Fort Wayne.
All of us kids loved being outside, playing. We would get a large cardboard box and make a sled out of it. Better yet, if you could get a piece of thin sheet metal – WOW! You were sure to go fast down the hills, that is if you could stay on it.
One way or another you were going down that hill.
We kids would make snow men and use coal for the eyes, mouth, and buttons. Did I say coal? I’m telling my age. Yeah, I’m not a young whipper snapper anymore. I’m a snap crackle and pop senior, and January is my birthday month. So send those cards and letters to this senior kid. I would love to hear from you.
God bless you, my friends.
God loves you and so do I.
May all the hills you go up and down bring wonderful memories and a joyful heart.
