PET FOOD DRIVE FOR THE SPCA
When: Nov. 4-15
Add’l: 4th grade students at Waynedale Elementary are hosting a Pet Food drive for the SPCA. You may drop off dry or canned dog and cat food to the office any time between 8a-3:30p, Mon.-Fri to help them with this community service project.
WAYNE HS ATHLETIC HALL OF FAME
Add’l: The Wayne HS Athletic Hall of Fame recognizes and honors Wayne HS Student Athletes, Coaches, Teams and Sports Contributors of their achievements and/or contributions to the Wayne HS Athletic programs. Applications must be received prior to November 18, 2019.

HOLIDAY BAND CONCERT

What: Christmas shopping with the flavor of a German Christkindelmart, with two stories of vendors, many new and some returning favorites, selling arts and crafts of all sorts for gift giving and decoration of the home. Also offering lunch of German Bratwurst and Gluhwein (hot, spiced wine) and a table full of German baked goods and German delicacies to choose from. Also a visit from St. Nikolaus (German Santa Clause) from 10a to 2p who will be available for photos.

WEIGHT-LOSS SUPPORT GROUP

Where: Waynedale United Methodist Church
Add’l: Members learn about nutrition, portion control, meal planning, exercise and more at weekly meetings. Consistent group support, health education and recognition are all key components to successful weight management. In fact, TOPS members collectively lose nearly 300 tons of weight each year.
