Travis Firestine, a 2018 Wayne H.S. graduate, son of Cindy & Mike Firestine and grandson of Dean & Marvel Embrey, all from the Waynedale area just came back from a solo month trip to Europe. His trip started in Dublin, Ireland where he visited the Trinity College Library, then to London, England where he watched 2 International Soccer Matches! Then to Amsterdam, Netherlands where the canals run through the whole city and he watched another Soccer Match. Off to Hamburg, Germany, went to Kunst Halle Museum, which he saw many paintings of his favorite artist, Caspar Friedrich and another Soccer Match. Then to Prague, Czech Republic to Basilica of St. James and a Soccer Match. Then to Dresden, Germany which this was one of the most beautiful places and got a Tattoo. Then to Berlin, Germany where he went to see the Wall and Holocaust Memorial, then to Frankfurt, Germany, went to the German Film Museum and a Soccer Match. Anybody that knows Travis, knows he loves International Soccer, his favorite team being the Arsenal. The family had a gathering to listen to all he experienced and looked at lots of pictures. We are so proud of Travis and love him very much. We are so very glad he is back at home!
