BETTY A. GREAF, 87

Betty A. Greaf, 87, of Fort Wayne, passed away Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Hospice Home. She was born March 12, 1931 in Bryant, IN to the late Daniel and Florence (Freund) Schindler. She worked as a Die inspector for Ajax Industrial Supply, along with having worked for Greaf Insurance. She was a longtime member of St. Therese Catholic Church and the Rosary Society. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and volunteered at the Franciscan Center and the Fort Wayne International Airport. She is survived by her daughter, Jane (Steve) Burns of Fort Wayne; sons, Gregory (Jan) Greaf of Columbia City, IN, Douglas (Cindy) Greaf of Fort Wayne, and Dennis (Scott Tarr) Greaf of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Amber, Jenni, Jacob, Amanda, and Sara; six great grandchildren; and sisters, Jeanette Greishop of Ft. Recovery, OH, Joan Wendel of Portland, IN, and Ladonna (Leon) Homan of St. Anthony, OH; and companion, Marvin Heston of Fort Wayne. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Glen E Greaf; five sisters; and a brother. Mass of Christian Burial was Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at 11:00 AM at St. Therese Catholic Church, 2304 Lower Huntington Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46819 with visitation one hour prior and a rosary vigil beginning at 10:30 AM. Visitation was also on Monday, July 23, 2018 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46809. Burial was in Catholic Cemetery. Preferred memorials may be made to St. Therese Catholic Church Building Fund or Visiting Nurse Hospice.
