LIGONIER MARSHMALLOW FESTIVAL

CAR, TRUCK, MOTORCYCLE SHOW & CRUISE-IN

FALL BONSAI DISPLAY

Where: Foellinger-Freimann Botanical Conservatory, 1100 S Calhoun St. 46802
What: Explore a forest of miniature trees carefully trained and pruned by members of our local bonsai club. Elms, maples, junipers and other familiar plants look just like their outdoor cousins – but a fraction of their size! The club also grows tropical bonsai that don’t need special winter treatment. Learn about the fascinating hobby or just enjoy “a stroll in the miniature forest.” Bonsai pots and young plants will be available to purchase. Sponsored by the Fort Wayne Bonsai Club.

FGC: FABULOUS FALL FLOWERS

What: Nothing says fall like beautiful autumn flowers! Join us this month as we learn about blossoms that open at the end of the growing season, such as chrysanthemums and asters. Are fall flowers annuals or perennials? Do they attract bees and butterflies? Which ones can you grow at home? While you visit, you can create a simple fall flower to take home for decorating.
