PEGGY ANN “PEG” MEEK, 82

PEGGY ANN “PEG” MEEK, 82, of Fort Wayne passed away December 1, 2017 at Kingston Residence. She was born August 4, 1935 in Fort Wayne to the late Alfred and Mildred (Bauermeister) Eichler. She worked as a homemaker, raising her family and helping her husband farm. She was a member of American Legion #241 Auxiliary and will be remembered for the love that she had when spending time and helping to care for her grandchildren.

Surviving are her sons, Kim (Patty) Meek and Rick (Jennifer) Meek, both of Fort Wayne; grandsons, Joshua, Ryan, Kevin, and Aidan; five great grandsons; brother, Larry Eichler of Ossian; and sisters, Carolyn Weisennauer of Ossian and Alyce Miller of Roanoke.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth E. Meek in 2002; son, Kerry Alan Meek in 1980; and brother, Kenneth Eichler.

A family graveside service was on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 Oak Lawn Cemetery, Ossian, IN. A celebration of Peg’s life will take place at a later date.
