JANET K. BONTEMPO, 70
JANET K. BONTEMPO, 70, of Fort Wayne passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2017. She was born on January 20, 1947 in Huntington, Indiana. She worked at Kunkel Valve Company and most recently worked at Walmart. She was involved with the neighborhood association and a lifetime member of VFW #1421.
She enjoyed playing bingo and will be remembered as a person that thought of herself last and others first and as a kind-hearted compassionate family woman.
Surviving family include her husband, Frank Bontempo, sons, Bryan (Candi) Rorick and Donnie Wayne (Gina) Lewis; step children, Julie (Jeffery) Ward, Gregory (Susan) Bontempo, Jeffrey (Patti) Bontempo; 17 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in passing by her brother, Ronald Voght.
Funeral service were 11:00am on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Rd., Fort Wayne with visitation one-hour prior. Visitation also from 2-4 and 6-8pm on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at the funeral home. Burial in Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
