ENJOY BEST FIREWORKS CELEBRATION IN WAYNEDALE ON THE THIRD OF JULY
If you are looking for fireworks in Waynedale on the “Fourth” of July, you won’t find them.
BUT, you can catch an even better celebration on the “Third” of July!
“For the past several years the Fraternal Order of Eagles (F.O.E.) #248 on Bluffton Road has provided a fireworks display better than the ‘show’ downtown,” said spokesman and trustee at F.O.E. Kevin Neal.
After all, what better place is there to celebrate America’s birthday than right here in Waynedale!
This year’s celebration is open to the public and will begin at 6pm. Bring lawn chairs and blankets, then start your evening enjoying the sounds of Cadillac Ranch. There will be a variety of family-oriented activities including kids games and at 7pm a Cornhole Tournament. F.O.E. will have beverages and alcohol available to purchase. Admission for the event is free. Be aware that no pets are allowed.
Again this year, over 2500 people are expected to turn out for this popular community event. F.O.E.’s parking lot generally fills up by 7pm. However, some of the best viewing areas for the fireworks include Foster Park, Bobick’s Golf and along Bluffton Road.
As soon as the band strikes its last note, around 10pm, the fireworks start! Topping off the evening with the best fireworks show in town!
“We are all counting the days until our Independence Day celebration on Monday, July 3rd, starting at 6pm,” said Kevin. “Come enjoy the festivities with us, as we all gather together as a community at F.O.E. for an old-fashioned fireworks show!”
