WAYNEDALE EMERGENCY WEATHER SIREN PETITION
Organization: Waynedale Business Chamber
Add’l: The closest audible warning signal/siren to the Waynedale community is more than 2 miles away and can only be heard 3/4 of a mile from where it is located. This part of Fort Wayne is growing quickly and is in need of an audible system to be alerted to potential public health, public safety and environmental/ weather-related emergencies. The Waynedale Business Chamber has begun a petition to lobby government agencies for a siren.

WAYNEDALE COMMUNITY PICNIC

What: The picnic is a family friendly event that has been a long-standing tradition in the Waynedale community, drawing over 2,000 attendees yearly. This year’s picnic is made possible by over a hundred local businesses and organizations who have donated to the community event. There will be free lunch and snacks. Fun to be had with bingo, kids games, inflatable obstacle course, appearances from our local police, EMT and fire departments, crafts, face painting, vendors and more.
