DNI: Chocolate Chip Cookie Day

Thursday, August 4, 5 -7 pm
This month, Botanical Conservatory visitors will get insight into chocolate and how it’s derived from the fruit of a tree. Get up close to our Theobroma cacao, or Cacao Tree, and look for its funky flowers and fruit which occur at the same time on the plant.

Of course, because it’s National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day we’ll send you home with a recipe and a cookie ice cream sandwich with the help of instructor Cindy Henry.
