PAUL REED, 84
PAUL REED, 84, of Waynedale, passed away Friday, April 15, 2016. He was born on March 1, 1932 to the late Elmer and Helen (Gocke) Reed. He worked as a trucker driver for 25 years and later at Umber’s Do It Best. He was a member of American Legion Post #241 and Amvets Post #33. He served as a volunteer fireman.
He enjoyed spending time at the lake, watching Colts football, and feeding birds.
Surviving family include his sons, Mark, Tim, Bryan and Bradley Reed; seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren; and siblings, Carolyn Springer and DeWayne Reed.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in passing by his wife, Betty Lou (Mix) Reed; and a sister, Flora Bonfligio.
Funeral service was 12:00 pm on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Rd., Fort Wayne with visitation one hour prior. Visitation also from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at the funeral home.
Burial in Prairie Grove Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
