MILDRED “MILLIE” SHURBOFF, 91

MILDRED “MILLIE” SHURBOFF, 91, of Fort Wayne passed away, Thursday, March 10, 2016. She was born July 31, 1924 in Milwaukee, WI to the late Gregory and Mary (Martinz) Stase. She worked as the manager and owner of the Office Tavern from 1974 to 1998. She was a member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church. She enjoyed gardening and spending time outdoors, enjoying nature. She also loved spending time with her family and being active at her church.

Surviving are her children, Greg (Lynn) Shurboff of Rochester, New York, John (Sheila) Shurboff of Lindenhurst, Illinois, Kenneth (Bonnie) Shurboff of Churubusco, Peter Shurboff of Fort Wayne, Carl Shurboff of Grayslake, IL, Henry Shurboff of Peru, IN, Risé (Michael) Taylor of Markle, and Tena (Jeremy) Crist of Fort Wayne; 28 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and 7 great great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Boris Shurboff in 1997 and sister, Evelyn Stase in 2012.

Funeral Services were held Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at 10AM at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, 1819 Reservation Dr., Fort Wayne, IN 46819 with visitation 1-hour prior. Visitation also on Monday, March 14, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, IN. Burial will be in Lindenwood Cemetery.

Preferred memorials may be made to Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church.
