CHARLES JOSEPH MALDENEY, 71
CHARLES JOSEPH MALDENEY, 71, of Yoder, passed away at his residence Tuesday, December 1, 2015. He was born May 18, 1944 in Fort Wayne to the late Elmer and Alma (Bowers) Maldeney. He retired from General Electric after 15 years of service. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and gardening. He was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church.
Surviving are his wife, Phyllis K. (Gordon) Maldeney of Yoder; children, Brian Maldeney of Ossian, Anthony Maldeney of Yoder, Annette (Craig) Bear of Columbia City, and Renee (Juma) Ally of Devon, Pennsylvania; brother, Thomas (Diana) Maldeney; sister, Teresa Lemper of Wisconsin; nine grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
Also preceding him in death was his stepmother, Lucille Schiffli.
Mass of Christian Burial was Friday, December 4, 2015 at 11 AM at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 14623 Bluffton Road, Yoder, IN 46798. Visitation on Thursday, December 3, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, IN. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
