RICKEY RICARDO FLOURNOY, 60

RICKEY RICARDO FLOURNOY, 60, passed away on September 12, 2015, after a long illness. Rickey is now at rest. He was born on April 17, 1955 to the late Albert White and Frances Flournoy in Chicago, Illinois. Mr. Flournoy accepted Christ at an early age and attended Antioch M.B.C. He joined the Air Force and upon his return he worked as an electrician, worked at General Motors and then in construction.

Rickey leaves behind a devoted wife, Pataliena Geimer-Flournoy of Fort Wayne; four sons, Shagmon and Rickey Jr. of Chicago, Illinois, Paris and Heraldo of Macon, Georgia; two daughters, Dejanette of Chicago, IL and Asia of Macon, GA; his siblings, Alfred, Billy, Vivian Simmons and Phyllis Washington-Flournoy, all of Chicago, IL, and Marquitta Flournoy of Fort Wayne; several grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Charles.

A funeral service was held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, September 19, 2015, at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, IN, with calling one hour prior. Visitation was from 2-4 and 6-8 on Friday, September 18, 2015 at the funeral home. Burial in Prairie Grove Cemetery.
