MT. CALVARY’S SCHOOL PROGRAMS CONTINUE TO GROW
In the absence of FWCS busing this school year, Mt. Calvary Lutheran Child Care and Preschool has contracted with Community Transportation Network to transport school-age children to and from Waynedale and Maplewood Schools. Mt. Calvary’s before and after school program for school-age children has grown in the last eight years.
All of the families presently attending expressed a desire to keep their children at Mt. Calvary, even though Y programs were available at FWCS. This assured them of a Christian environment for school days, delay days, no school days, holiday breaks as well as the summer program.
The children are engaged with activities for learning and fun, as well as indoor gym time and outside play.
The program is open to children Grades K-5 year-round. There are still available openings. Contact Sue Doepner, Director 260-203-3715 or suedoepner@mtcalvaryftwayne.org for information.
Mt. Calvary Lutheran Child Care and Preschool is a Paths to Quality rated program with the state and is located at 1819 Reservation Dr. off Bluffton Road, across from Miami Middle School.
