WAYNEDALE’S BUSINESS CHAMBER MEETS FOR WELLBEING OF COMMUNITY

waynedale BUSINESS CHAMBERThank you to everyone that took the time to participate in the first Waynedale Business Chamber (WBC) meeting! It’s refreshing to see that so many people are interested in the wellbeing of our community!

I also want to take the time to thank the organizers of the Waynedale Business Chamber, Alex Cornwell-The Waynedale News, Camille Garrison-Kingston Residence, Brad Campbell-1st Source Bank, and Beulah Matczak-American Legion Post #241.

We had a wonderful turnout of just over 50 representatives from local businesses!

I look forward to serving as the President of The Waynedale Business Chamber, along with its new secretary Dawn Lawson of Robinson Family Eyecare! I am very excited to see the positive effects The Chamber will have in Waynedale!

The next meeting will be held at 2pm on Thursday, August 13, 2015 at the Southwest Conservation Club. At the meeting, we will be discussing the immediate and long-term goals of the WBC. Current members are encouraged to bring their ideas and suggestions to the meeting. If you’re not a member yet, please see me at The Waynedale News office, 2505 Lower Huntington Road to pick up a packet and application.
