TASTE OF WAYNEDALE TO BENEFIT HONOR FLIGHT & COMMUNITY HARVEST FOOD BANK

Taste Of Waynedale 2015Kingston Residence will proudly sponsor the 7th Annual “Kingston’s Taste of Waynedale” on Tuesday, March 24th from 4:30 – 7:00 p.m. at Mount Calvary Family Life Center, 1819 Reservation Road. The proceeds from this event will go to both Honor Flight Northeast Indiana and Community Harvest Food Bank.

Tickets are $15 each if paid in advance, $20 the day of the event. Please RSVP to 747-1523, cagarrison@kingstonhealthcare.com or stop by between 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. at Kingston Residence, 7515 Winchester Road, Monday through Friday to pick up your tickets.

To date, 21 local restaurants and businesses have committed to participating and will offer samples of a variety of food or drink. Additional vendors are still coming in. Area restaurants who currently plan to participate include: Azar’s Big Boy, Bandido’s, Belmont Beverage, Captain Ron’s Corral, Casa Ristorante, China Palace, Curly’s Village Inn, Dairy Queen, Hall’s Original Drive In, The Landmark Centre, Las Tres Hermana’s, Mike’s Donuts, Nine Mile Restaurant, Penguin Point, Pizza Hut, Shig’s In Pit, Spyro’s, The Stand, Subway, Waynedale Bakery and Wings Etc.

Additional businesses that are providing support to Kingston’s Taste of Waynedale include: The Waynedale News and JW Signs. Tickets can also be purchased at Hair Affair or Curves, both on Bluffton Road. Over 60 silent auction items are anticipated that have been donated by local businesses.

To date we have raised almost $49,000 for various charities through this event,” stated Marketing Director Camille Garrison. “As a board member for Honor Flight, I was elated that our organization was selected as one of this year’s charities. We’ve added a 4th flight this year so every dollar donated will help offset the additional costs.”

Kingston Residence Assisted Living Community has been serving the community since 1990. It offers engaged and fulfilling retirement living with compassionate nursing support.
