JAMES E. SPRINGER ATTENDS NAELA SUMMIT

National Law Conference Focused on Seniors and People with Disabilities

James E. Springer of The Elder Law Office of James E. Springer P.C. in Fort Wayne attended the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) Summit held from January 29-31, 2015, at the Island Hotel in Newport Beach, California. Hosted by NAELA, this event offered hands-on learning experience under the guidance of top experts in Elder and Special Needs Law. Session titles included:

Working with Clients with Diminished Capacity – Dealing with the Roadblock of Denial, presented by dementia expert Teepa Snow; Navigating the Medicare Maze: Successfully Challenging Medicare Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) and Home Care Denials; Legislative Update and Outlook: Learn How to Use the ABLE ACT and the Disabled Military Child Protection Act and What Could Happen in the Next Congress That Would Affect Your Practice; and Timing Social Security Applications: Maximizing Benefits for the Worker, Spouse, and Adult Dependent Children.

Mr Springer is a graduate of Elmhurst High School and Valparaiso University School of Law, who has focused his practice on Elder Law for the last 12 years helping people navigate the maze of Medicaid, VA and estate and legacy planning in the Waynedale area.
