BREAKING THE SILENCE

‘Breaking The Silence’ – Heather’s Closet held it’s first public outreach event on February 22, 2015. The event was held at Bishop Luers High School and showcased speakers who shared their caution of teen dating violence. The event also provided free food, prom dresses and give-aways.

Heather’s Closet is a non-profit organization that aims to educate teens about dating violence. Heather’s story is not the only one of its kind, and any efforts made to prevent these stories from recurring are needed. Heather’s Closet sells used prom/formal dresses at discounted prices while at the same time providing educational material for teens regarding dating violence. Together, we can make a huge impact by sharing Heather’s story and these dresses. We Are Heather’s Voice.
