DAVID SCHMUCKER, 77
DAVID SCHMUCKER, 77, of Fort Wayne passed away, Friday, December 12, 2014. He was born on May 13, 1937 in Allen County to the late Samuel and Rosa (Miller) Schmucker. He worked for Zollner Pistons as an inspector. He was a member of the Eagles #248 and attended Mount Calvary Lutheran Church. He enjoyed watching sports and playing with his dogs.
Surviving family include his sons, Bill and Scott Schmucker, James (Mary) Schmucker; grandchildren, James II, Jared, Josiah, and Maleah Schmucker; and siblings, Rosena Caldwell, Ben Schmucker, and Lucy Freeze.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in passing by his wife, Betty (Campbell) Schmucker; brother, John Schmucker; and grandson, Jordan Schmucker.
A funeral service will be 11:00 am on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old trail Road, Fort Wayne with visitation one-hour prior. Visitation will also be from 2-4 and 6-8pm on Friday, December 19, 2014 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Prairie Grove Cemetery.
