CHRISTMAS TREE SALE AT THE “BASE”
Annually, the 122nd Fighter Wing’s Non-Commissioned Officer Academy Graduate Association’s, Chapter 89, organizes a community project by raising money for the Woodburn Children’s Home, through the sale of Christmas Trees. At just $20 per tree we have been fortunate to provide the Woodburn Children’s Home with washer and dryer sets, televisions, a freezer, a dishwasher and dining room chairs.
The Woodburn Christian Children’s Home is broadly supported by the community throughout the tri-state area. Since 1972, this special home has provided a Christian family environment for children who are homeless or who have other special needs.
Hensler Nursery, Inc. has been providing Scotch Pine Christmas trees for years to Chapter 89. Trees will go on sale at the 122nd Fighter Wing’s Heritage Air Park located just before the base entrance at 3005 W. Ferguson Rd., Fort Wayne.
Tell your family and Friends – our goal this year is to sell all of the trees BEFORE Christmas!
