SOLINA M. DAVISON, 99
SOLINA M. DAVISON, 99, formerly of Yoder, passed away Sunday, September 22, 2013 at Adams Heritage, Monroeville. She was born September 10, 1914 in Yoder, daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Metker) Bubb.
She had formerly worked as a secretary at St. Aloysius School and also worked as postmaster for 11 years at the Yoder Post Office. She was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church and the Rosary Sodality at her church.
Surviving are her children, Sharon (Russell) Sorg of Yoder, Margaret (Robert) Renninger of Yoder, Mary Ellen (Kenneth, Deceased) Coyne of Monroeville, Carl (Gerry) Davison of Fort Wayne, Father Donald Davison of Rensselaer, and Jeanne (John) Whiteman of Zanesville; 26 grandchildren; 50 great grandchildren; and 1 great great granddaughter.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Davison in 1966; five brothers; and 2 sisters.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 14623 Bluffton Road, Yoder, IN 46798. Visitation on Friday, September 27, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46809. Visitation also on Saturday, September 28, 2013 from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at the Funeral Home. Burial in the church cemetery.
