FROGAPALOOZA FUNDRAISER
The annual Frogapalooza fundraiser, which benefits nonprofit Little River Wetlands Project, will be held Friday, September 20, at 6 p.m. at Sweetwater Sound. Now in its fourth year, Frogapalooza celebrates local conservation efforts and helps support Eagle Marsh, LRWP’s three other wetland nature preserves, and its free nature programs.
The event features silent and live auctions, with items ranging from unique getaways to hard-to-get sports tickets and experience items, such as a casual cookout and “owl prowl” with a naturalist at Eagle Marsh. (See a complete list at www.lrwp.org/frog). Frogapalooza attendees will also enjoy dinner catered by Catablu and a short presentation about LRWP’s work restoring wetlands.
Curtis Smith, Chief Meteorologist of Indiana’s News Center, will serve as emcee for the evening. Tickets are $100 per person, $800 of a table for eight. Call 260-478-2515 or visit www.lrwp.org/frog for details.
