URSULA R. BAKER REDDING, 92
URSULA R. BAKER REDDING, 92, formerly of the Roanoke area, passed away Thursday, April 25, 2013 at Presence Sacred Heart Home, Avilla. She was born March 27, 1921 in Fort Wayne, daughter of the late Ira and Romana (Hursh) Crandal.
She was a homemaker and had most recently worked for the Coventry Pizza Hut until the age of 87. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Roanoke along with being active at the American Legion.
Surviving are a daughter, Sharon (Donald) Heck of Huntertown; grandchildren, Tammy (James) Stewart and Sherrie (Rob Lash) Balyeat, both of Kendallville, and Todd Heck of Fort Wayne; great grandchildren, Cody, Nate, and Katie; and brother, James (Hazel) Crandal of Fort Wayne.
She was also preceded in death by her 1st husband, William Baker in 1960; 2nd husband, Jack Redding in 1985; son, Gene Baker in 1994; and siblings Ira Crandal, Winfred Crandal, William Crandal, Joseph Crandal, Joan Parin, Mary Reed, and Rita Keiler.
A Mass of Christian Burial was at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, April 29, 2013 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 641 North Main Street, Roanoke, IN 46783 with ½ hour of visitation prior to service. Visitation also on Sunday, April 28, 2013 from 3 to 8 P.M. at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46809. Burial at Covington Memorial Gardens.
