WAYNEDALE RESOLUTIONS
In the past year we have continued our mission of becoming an outlet for positively promoting the Waynedale Community, showcasing the latest news and highlighting its people, happenings and announcements. Through our positive, locally oriented publication many residents and the rest of Fort Wayne have begun to understand Waynedale and see how great of a place this hometown community is.
We are convinced that through our efforts, as well as the many growing volunteer based improvement groups, 2013 will be the best year yet for Waynedale’s morale, projects and community wide events. Enhancing the area is one of our New Year’s Resolutions, and we hope that it is yours too! Start this year off right: 1) Create some new ideas that you think would help the community. 2) Go to a couple meetings of an improvement organization such as Waynedale Community Improvement Team, Lion’s Club, South Side Optimists, or your neighborhood association. 3) Share your ideas and volunteer your time with a minimum of one project they already have in progress. 4) Send your story to The Waynedale News and we’ll show the rest of the community what you’re working on.
This community is begging for our love, attention, and a little bit of our time to see some great things accomplished. If we all contribute in our own way, at this time next year we’ll be patting ourselves on the back and we will be able to reap the benefits of all of us pulling our weight.
