SALLY A. SCHMITT, 77
SALLY A. SCHMITT, 77, passed away Saturday, October 20, 2012, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, she worked at Smitty’s Lanes in Fort Wayne and also worked at Kohl’s Department Store for 13 years, retiring in 1997. She was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church. She loved her family and was involved with her kids and grandkid’s lives and sporting events.
Surviving are her spouse of 51 years, Richard F. Schmitt; daughter, Linda M. (Ken) Isenbarger; daughter, Lori A. Schmitt; and son, Craig S. (Tammy) Schmitt; grandchildren, Grant, Drew, and Megan Isenbarger, all of Fort Wayne.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Phyllis Ewing; and brother, Bruce A. Ewing.
Service was 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at St. Therese Catholic Church, 2304 Lower Huntington Rd. with calling one hour prior. Fr. Lawrence Teteh officiating. Calling also from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at D.O. McComb & Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Road. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne.
