VERA A. REINHARD, 88
VERA A. REINHARD, 88, of Fort Wayne, passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2012 at Covington Manor. She was born February 23, 1924 in Berne, Indiana to the late Cyrus and Katherine (Steiner) Lehman. She was a customer service representative and teller at People’s Trust until her retirement in 1990. Ms. Reinhard was a member of New Day Ministries, she volunteered in the gift shop at Lutheran Hospital and was active with church trips. She enjoyed crocheting afghans and blankets.
She was also preceded in death by her husband Ennis Reinhard in 1992 and her brothers, Wilmer “Cy” and Ornell Lehman.
She is survived by her children, Carol (Robert) Wolf of Louisville, IN, Kay (Randy) Hooten of Churubusco, Ron (Val) Reinhard of New Haven and Bruce Reinhard of Fort Wayne; eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 7, 2012 at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46809 with calling one hour prior. Burial will be in Covington Memorial Gardens.
