STUDENTS DANCE THE IRISH JIG
On March 15, three classes of St. Joseph-St. Elizabeth School watched a presentation of Irish step dancing in honor of St. Patrick’s Day on March 17.
Nikki Taylor, an alumnus of St. Joseph-St. Elizabeth School, Bishop Luers and St. Mary’s College, demonstrated several Irish dance steps. She had the students try some dance steps, including an Irish jig.
Nikki Taylor learned Irish step dancing in a college club and also spent one academic year in Maynooth, Ireland.
The students who watched the Irish dance presentation were Miss Kaitlynn Gallaway’s first grade class, Miss Lindsay Kostoff’s kindergarten class, and Mrs. Sharen Gall’s preschool class.
