WILLARD WILLIAMS, 88

WILLARD WILLIAMS, 88, formerly of Fort Wayne, passed away Thursday, December 8, 2011 at Lutheran Hospital. He was born on December 29, 1922 in Salyersville, Kentucky to the late David S. and Ellen (Ketton) Williams.

Mr. Williams retired in 1983 as a clerk at Phelps Dodge after 36 years. He was a member of Elmhurst Church of the Nazarene, VFW, American Legion and DAV.

Surviving are his children, Charles David (Terry) Williams and Sharon J. (Lee) Steinman, both of Fort Wayne; sister, Greathel Lloyd of Battle Creek, Michigan; half siblings, Josephine Whitley of Colon, Michigan, Ollie Williams of Reading, Michigan, and Arbie Williams of Union City, Michigan; seven grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter.

Also preceding him in death were brother, Junior Williams and sister, Kathleen Williams.

Services will be private. Burial will be in Lindenwood Cemetery.
