MARY ANN MILLER, 87
MARY ANN MILLER, 87, of Fort Wayne, passed away Friday, October 28, 2011 at Ossian Health and Rehab. Center. She was born February 21, 1924 in Fort Wayne to the late Grover and Goldie (Weist) Swank. Mrs. Miller was a homemaker. She was an accomplished seamstress, enjoyed growing flowers, listening to country music, and spending time outdoors, especially at her cottage at Big Long Lake.
“She was the best mom in the world, with a very generous heart.”
Surviving are her daughter, Sharon (Steve) Maxwell of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Amanda Gatton and Katy Miller; and great granddaughter, Elie Gatton.
Also, preceding her in death were her husband, Dean T. “Deano” Miller in 2002; son, Larry Miller; and brother Norman and Richard Swank.
Funeral service is Saturday, November 5, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, IN with visitation 1 hour prior to services. Visitation is also on Friday, November 4, 2011 from 5 to 8 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Aloysius Catholic Cemetery.
