VESTER RAY PITMAN, 72
VESTER RAY PITMAN, 72, passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2011 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Mr. Pitman was born in Rosiclare, Illinois on May 6, 1938 to the late William and Vivian (Oatley) Pitman. He was an Air Force Veteran and worked as an Avionic Technician for Fort Wayne Avionics. He was a member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church.
He is survived by two uncles, Richard Pitman of Petoskey, Michigan and Heber Pitman of San Diego, California. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Eugene R. Pitman.
Funeral services were at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, 1819 Reservation Drive, Fort Wayne, IN, on Monday, March 21, 2011 at 11:00 AM with calling one hour before. Burial was in North Park Cemetery in Luther, Michigan.
