KENNETH E. “RUSTY” RODENBECK, 83
KENNETH E. “RUSTY” RODENBECK, 83, passed away on Friday, January 14, 2011, in Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, he worked in accounting for Magnavox for 39 years, retiring in 1989. After retiring, he was a groundskeeper for Brookwood Golf Course for 20 years. He was a U.S. Army World War II veteran, an avid golfer and he loved his grandchildren.
Surviving are his wife, LaDonna Jeanne Rodenbeck of Fort Wayne; sons, Kerry (Brenda) Rodenbeck, Kent L. Rodenbeck and Scott (Michelle E.) Rodenbeck, all of Fort Wayne; brother, Donald (Shar) Rodenbeck of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Anna, Karen, Joshua, David and Daniel Rodenbeck.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Reinhold and Dorothy Rodenbeck.
Service was 11 a.m. Wednesday at D.O. McComb & Sons Foster Park Funeral Home, 6301 Fairfield Ave., with calling one hour prior. The Rev. Mike Harris officiating. Calling also from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial in Concordia Cemetery Gardens, Fort Wayne.
