PAUL JOSEPH HINE, 90

PAUL JOSEPH HINE, 90PAUL JOSEPH HINE, 90, of Fort Wayne, passed away Sunday, August 22, 2010 at his residence at Lutheran Life Villages. Mr. Hine was born October 17, 1919 in Whitley County to the late Lewis and Nora (Pequignot) Hine. He was employed at International Harvester for 30 years, retiring in 1976 from Dept. 24. Mr. Hine was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church, American Legion #241, St. Vincent DePaul, Holy Name Society, and was a WWII Marine veteran.

Surviving are his wife of almost 60 years, Alberta (Reust ) Hine of Fort Wayne; daughter, Mary Jo (Companion Rick Waldrop) Miller of Fort Wayne; siblings, Helen Guillaume, Marcella Palmer, Ralph F. Hine all of Fort Wayne and grandchildren, Sarah and Paul Miller both of Fort Wayne. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Mr. Hine was preceded in death by 5 sisters, Mary Zwick, Louise Tusch, Edna Sauer, Christine McPherson, and Catherine Merrill.

Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday, August 26, 2010 at St. Therese Catholic Church, 2304 Lower Huntington Road, Fort Wayne at 1:00 P.M. with calling one hour prior to services. Calling will also be on Wednesday at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne from 2 to 4 & 5:30 to 8 P.M. with a wake service at 7:30 P.M. Burial will be at Catholic Cemetery.
