The Students of Elmhurst High School Drama Team are putting on a bright, entertaining musical. The students have shown great spirit and pride in their production in spite of the possibility of this being their final experience on Elmhurst stage. They are to be admired for their passion and pride for their high school and their dedication to the arts. If Elmhurst stage goes dark after “The Boy Friend” it will be remembered for this fun filled evening of song and dance.

The Jazz age lives on in this light, romantic spoof of 1920s musical comedy. The setting is the French Riviera, in a posh finishing school for young ladies. Here an English heiress posing as a secretary falls in love with a handsome rich young man posing as a delivery boy to beware of fortune hunters. Things get complicated with the unexpected arrival of their parents, but not to worry a happy ending is in store for all. Bright songs, cute dances and the Charleston, what more could you ask for?
