ELMHURST HIGH SCHOOL CLOSING?
As students at Elmhurst High School, many of you may have fond memories of your time there. Future generations might not get to share such an experience.
Recently, The Fort Wayne Community School Board has been looking to cut $15 million from the district’s budget. They have been considering many possible actions to take, including school closures. Elmhurst High School is one of the schools that are possibly being considered for closure.
No decisions have been made as of yet. The final decision by the school board will be announced March 22nd. Until then, we hope the best for both Elmhurst High School and Fort Wayne Community Schools. It is our policy not to feature any news based on conjecture or hearsay for the sake of capitalizing on hot-button issues.
