KINGSTON “CRANKS” OUT CELEBRATION FOR A GOOD CAUSE

Step back in time as over 20 Model A cars from the Old Fort Model A Car Club are expected to be showcased at Kingston Residence, 7515 Winchester Road. The Good Old Days celebration is to be held on Friday, September 11 from 4 – 7 p.m. The general public, residents of Kingston and their families are invited to share in the fun.

Kingston Residence is supporting the Southwest Firefighters Association as they work toward restoring their original 1941 Wayne Township American Lafrance Pumper #1. Donations will be accepted to return this piece of history to its original glory. A restored 1925 Studebaker Pumper from the New Haven Fire Department will be on display.

Wiegmann Auctioneers will be hosting an Antiques/Collectibles Road Show where two items may be appraised for their value. Other highlights include a display of Native American items, musical entertainment, caramel corn, ice cream from The Stand, delicious beef stew and biscuits. Join Kingston as they revisit the best of the Good Old Days. Please RSVP to 747-1523.
