The Fort Wayne TinCaps announced today that they have redesigned and relaunched their internet team store, “The Orchard Online,” in response to the growing number of visitors and merchandise orders the site was receiving on a daily basis.

The team has increased the number of items available via online purchase in response to online shoppers’ suggestions. “People are seeing apparel around the community and wanting it for themselves,” said TinCaps Merchandise Manager, Karen Schieber. “They want to be able to wear that new shirt or hat the next time they come to the game, so almost anything you can buy at Parkview Field is now available online.”

“We have seen an overwhelming demand for merchandise since we opened for business over two months ago,” said Schieber. “People are wanting the latest TinCaps merchandise, not only by buying it at the ballpark, but via the internet. We’ve simplified the online ordering process for the customer, and on our end we are able to streamline packaging and shipping as well. The new site is simply easier to use for all involved.”

“The Orchard, located at Parkview Field, will always be the more traditional way to shop for TinCaps gear,” stated Schieber. “But sometimes people want to have their gear before they come out for a game, or they want to ship it as a present. No matter what the reason, now fans have an even easily experience right from the comfort of their own home, 24 hours a day.”
