MARILYN R. RECTOR, 85
MARILYN R. RECTOR, 85, of Fort Wayne, died on Sunday, March 22, 2009, at Renaissance Village. She was born on June 23, 1923, in Erie, Pa. She was an executive secretary at Lincoln National Life, having worked there from July 2, 1951 to April 29, 1983. She was a volunteer for many years at the Embassy Theater, Botanical Gardens and the Lutheran Hospital Gift Shop. Surviving are her sons, Stephen (Mary) Schlink of Los Gatos, Calif. and Michael (Diana) Schlink of Encino, Calif.; sister, Barbara Laurie of Fort Wayne; sister-in-law, Rosie Bleeke of Bluffton; brother-in-law, Richard Schlink of Santa Clara, Calif.; grandchildren, Stephanie, Christopher, Grant, and Andy Schlink; and dear friends and caregivers, Trishele (Jamison) Mowan, Judy (Brian) Fehlhaber and Doug Guerin, all of Fort Wayne. She was preceded in death by her first husband, George Franklin “Franke” Schlink, in 1959; second husband, Robert Rector, in 1983; and sisters, Joella and Patricia. A
