NE INDIANA 4-H JUDGES WORKSHOP

Adults interested in learning how to become 4-H Project Judges at our area fairs are invited to attend the Northeast Indiana 4-H Judges Clinic, Saturday, March 7. The event will be held at Northrop High School, 7001 Coldwater Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46825.

The workshop will begin with registration at 8:30 AM. A general session at 9 AM will explain the philosophy of judging 4-H projects, working with youth during the judging process and understanding project rules.

Breakout seminars will round out the morning workshop that will conclude at 12:15 PM. The breakout sessions will include: Geology, Crafts, Fashion Revue, Natural Resources & Entomology, New Judges, Floriculture, Sewing / Consumer Clothing, Scrapbooking, Photography, and Posters.

The event is being organized by Purdue Extension Service 4-H Youth Development Educators in Northeast Indiana. The workshop is open to all current or prospective 4-H judges who are interested in learning more about the 4-H judging process.

Registration forms, along with a payment of $10 (workshop materials and refreshments) are due by Friday, February 27th.
