SOUTH SIDE OPTIMIST’S SUPPORT WAYNEDALE SCHOOL ART PROGRAM

Cheryl Nelson, Waynedale Elementary School Art Teacher, received a check in the amount of $500 from Optimist Club president Esther Donovan on Friday, November 7. Nelson has been supplementing the art resources out of her own money, as budget cuts have left the art program in the red.

The South Side Optimist Club felt that supporting the Art Program was a great investment into our Waynedale kid’s future.
