JEROME G. MILLER, 82
JEROME G. MILLER, 82, of New Albany, passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at Lincoln Hills Health Center in New Albany, Indiana. Jerome was a WWII Marine veteran, a life member of the American Legion Post #241 in Fort Wayne, Indiana where he was also an avid golfer and fisherman, and a life-long member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Fort Wayne. Jerome was born on November 26, 1925 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Harvey and Louise E. (Wismann) Miller.
He was also preceded in death by his sister, Lula Mae Naville, and brothers, Charles, Joseph, and Edward Miller.
He is survived by his twin sister, Germaine Day of New Albany, and his brothers, Larry Miller and his wife, Gladys, of Sellersburg and Kenny Miller of Elizabeth; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was Thursday, October 9, 2008, at Generations Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with a Rosary Service His Funeral Mass was Friday, October 10,2008, at Holy Family Catholic Church. A private burial will take place at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Lanesville, Indiana.
